Terms & Conditions for ThreadedChannels

  1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using ThreadedChannels (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our App.

  2. Description of Service

    ThreadedChannels is a SaaS application that integrates with Slack to provide moderation assistance. Our App is designed to help your organization enforce usage of Slack's Threaded messaging feature. The App interacts with your Slack workspace to provide its services.

  3. User Accounts and Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Slack account to use the App. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

  4. Intellectual Property Rights

    All intellectual property rights in the App and its content (excluding content provided by users) remain the property of Tanjun Software, LLC. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

  5. User Content and Conduct

    You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App. However, by using the App, you grant Tanjun Software, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute this content for the purpose of providing and improving our services. You agree not to use the App to:

    • Violate any laws or regulations
    • Infringe upon the rights of others
    • Transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
    • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App
  6. Privacy and Data Protection

    Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

  7. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tanjun Software, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

    1. your use or inability to use the App;
    2. any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
    3. any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App;
    4. any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the App.
  8. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms & Conditions or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

  9. Changes to Terms

    We may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. By using the App, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms & Conditions.

  10. Governing Law

    These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

  11. Slack-Specific Clauses

    The App adheres to Slack's API Terms of Service. Our use and transfer of information received from Slack APIs to any other app will adhere to Slack's API Terms of Service.

  12. Data Usage

    The App requires access to data and metadata about your Slack account, organization, channels, messages, and their content. We use this data solely for the purpose of providing the service as described. We do not store any Slack data beyond what is necessary for the functioning of the App.

  13. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

    The App strives to maintain a 99.9% uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

  14. Support and Maintenance

    We provide support via support@threadedchannels.com during regular business hours: 9am-5pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The App is regularly updated to improve functionality and security.
